GEA-Mastercard Foundation Resilience and Recovery “Nkosuo” Program: Data Collection Commences

JMK Nkosuo project

After completing enumerator training, JMK Consulting Limited has commenced the data collection phase for the GEA-Mastercard Foundation Resilience and Recovery “Nkosuo” Program. Starting on Monday, December 4, 2023, enumerators equipped with tablets and a comprehensive understanding of the endline questionnaire are now actively engaging with over 2500 beneficiaries across the 16 regions of Ghana.

The Nkosuo Program, launched as a recovery and resilience initiative, aims to provide support to MSMEs and startups affected by the economic downturn caused by the COVID-19 pandemic. The data collected during this phase will be crucial in evaluating the program's impact and effectiveness.

As enumerators interact with beneficiaries in various sectors, including Agriculture, Healthcare, Manufacturing, and more, the information gathered will contribute to a robust assessment of the program's outcomes. The comprehensive data collection framework ensures that the evaluation captures the diverse experiences and challenges faced by businesses in different regions.

The GEA-Mastercard Foundation Resilience and Recovery “Nkosuo” Program is a vital initiative to support the backbone of Ghana's economy—MSMEs. The data collected will provide valuable insights into the program's success and areas for improvement, ultimately contributing to the resilience and progress of businesses affected by the pandemic.
