Joseph Yaw Dwemena Quansah, an Educationist with 15 years practicing experience in areas of Teaching, Education Planning, Management and Policy. Over the past 15 years, Joseph has worked as a teacher in Mathematic and English, and Education Planning with the GES and Registrar (education management) with Takoradi Polytechnic. He is presently a lecturer and Coordinator for Professional Education Practice Unit of the University of Development Studies where he leads a team of experts to supervise field practicals of Trainee Teachers. He has over the year taught undergraduate students in advanced Methodologies for Community Education and Research, Educational Administration and Management, Sociology of Education, Educational Planning, Teaching as a Profession, Principles and Practice of Education etc.
At JMK Consulting Ltd, Joseph has been an Associate Consultant since 2012, where he provides technical inputs, advice and reviews of consultancy reports prepared by the firm. For instance, Quansah was instrumental in the schools needs assessment study conducted for ILO as well as in the development of the School Management Committee Training Manual for GES/ILO in 2012. He was also part of JMK team that conducted the tracking survey on the Global Partnership for Education project for the Ghana National Education Campaign Coalition. He has also participated in other baseline studies and evaluations undertaking by the firm particularly those with education components: Evaluation of the Girls Making Media project, CEDRESS project at KNUST.
