JMK, in partnership with Oxford Policy Management under the UNICEF WASH programme, conducted household toilet census in 228 communities in the Northern, Upper East, Upper West and Volta Regions reaching out to 8350 households as part of the UNICEF Rural Sanitation Research programme. KEY OUTPUTS AT-A-GLANCE
a) Developed questionnaire covering household roaster, toilet facilities of households, participation in community action toward toilet construction, and participation in toilet construction interventions.
b) Recruited 85 interviewers and 8 supervisors for the household data collection.
c) Trained 55 interviewers and 8 supervisors for 5 days. After the training, the interviewers and supervisors were pruned to 70 and 8, respectively.
d) Collected 8350 household interviews
e) Developed field report and successfully submitted to OPM.
