YIEDIE is a 5-year project, which MasterCard Foundation funded, focused on transitioning economically disadvantaged young people to find quality employment or start their small-scale enterprises (SSEs) in the construction sector within five of Ghana’s largest cities (i.e., Accra, Sekondi-Takoradi, Kumasi, Tema, and Ashaiman). The YIEDIE Project was implemented by a consortium of five organizations, namely Opportunities Industrialization Centre, Ghana (OICG); African Aurora Business Network LLC (AABN); Republic-Boafo; Artisans Association of Ghana (AAG) and Global Communities (the lead organisation). JMK was engaged by Global Communities to undertake the final evaluation of the project.

KEY OUTPUTS AT-A-GLANCE
In undertaking this assignment, JMK:
a) Prepared an inception report
b) Conducted desk review; developed 4 interview guides and FGD facilitation guide; and
c) Conducted 25 interviews with implementing partners, 25 interviews with TVET institutions, 12 interviews with city-level stakeholders at MMDAs, 15 interviews with employers and contractors, and 10 FGDs with 120 artisans who benefitted from the project to assess the relevance, effectiveness, efficiency, impact and sustainability of YIEDIE Project.
d) Produced and submitted the final evaluation report to Global Communities
