JMK was contracted by the MOGCSP to conduct Household Data Collection in 96,614 households in the Savannah Region of Ghana for the Ghana National Household Registry (GNHR). Employing the census approach, JMK enumerated 92,112 households and 535,000 household members, representing 94% and 82% coverage rates, respectively .

 

 

KEY OUTPUTS AT-A-GLANCE

In executing the assignment, JMK:

a) Developed survey implementation manual and training curriculum, enumerators instructional guide and manual for the training of community focal persons

b) Recruited and trained 280 enumerators, 24 supervisors, 7 district coordinators, 40 Quality assurance officers for the data collection and quality assurance,

c) Undertook data collection using computer-assisted personal interviewing (CAPI) tools to capture a set of socio-economic information, GPS coordinates & photographic images of household heads and/or caretakers.

d) Developed a realistic project implementation operational plan to conduct data collection,

e) Implemented a robust data monitoring and quality assurance plan to ensure the collection of high-quality data

f) Perform data quality control on the field and at the JMK back-end office during data collection.

g) Produced field data collection completion report.
